Home to the NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL CENTRE

Kettering Conferencing Centre has signed with Volleyball England to become the National Volley Centre, a base for all training and competitions for the National Men’s, Women’s, Junior and Great Britain’s Sitting Volleyball Teams over the next four years.

The launch of The National Volleyball Centre took place on Saturday 7th November. The Centre was opened by Cllr James Hakewill, the leader of Kettering Borough Council, and Maria Bertelli, The GB Indoor Volleyball captain. A number of VIPs were also present - The Mayor of Kettering, Ruth Groome, the Honorary President of Volleyball England, Dr Don Anthony and The Kettering Sports Personality of the Year, Dermot Bailey.

The new facility, is centred around our main 2000m2 arena. The Centre will provide top class sports facilities for International athletes and competitions in the lead up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Lakeside Weddings.....

Our Lakeside room has been completed refurbished with a new bar, dance floor, plush carpeting and new lighting creating a fabulous room for weddings for up to 200 people.

The Lakeside is also ideal for other special social occasions. With its lakeside lawn and terrace along the waters edge, complete with a barbeque area and decking, it all makes for a wonderful setting.

Civil Wedding Licence......

The centre has a Civil Wedding licence which will allow wedding ceremonies to take place on the premises. Get married, have your wedding breakfast and evening reception all under one roof! All of our rooms are licensed so we can accommodate ceremonies from 5 to 500.

The Lighthouse Theatre

The Lighthouse Theatre is a brand new 562 tiered seat auditorium and balcony that boasts comfortable armchair style seating complimented by high spec lighting and sound equipment. The auditorium along with its large stage is designed to be very flexible and can accommodate conferences, presentations, award ceremonies and product launches. The Lighthouse is situated within Kettering Conference Centre making it one of the most versatile venues in the region.
